Easy steps to remove chocolate stains

From chocolate fondue to chocolate ice-cream, everything that has anything to do with chocolate is just irresistibly scrumptious. We delve so much into the mouth-watering taste that we start resembling children and we even act like them when we carelessly drop it on our garments and end up with stains that seem difficult to remove. Now does that mean that you should be careful while eating chocolate? Absolutely not! You do justice to it only by plunging into these delicacies; don’t let the stains stop it. All you need to do is know how you can get rid of these stains totally and easily, and then continue diving into the world of cocoa.

Step 1- At the very beginning of the process of fighting this stain, we deal with it exactly as we deal with the rest of the stains, that is, by pre-treating it. Do not put water on the stain as soon as you notice it. A lot of times you can simply scrape it off or at least the excesses once it is dry. It is after that, that you should start working on it. First off, put some Champion Blue detergent powder on the stain. If you’re wondering why we stressed on Champion Blue, it is because it fights stains more adroitly than any other detergent powder at your disposal. Its StainGo ColourPro technology helps remove stains in a jiffy and keeps the fabric safe as well. Then, rub the affected area with a brush. In this step it is essential that you make sure to not scrape it or brush it too hard, or you would risk damaging the fabric of the clothing.

Step 2- Turn the portion inside out and wash the backside of the affected area with cold water or soda water. This loosens the chocolate molecules and helps to remove the stain easily. If for some reason you cannot turn the clothing inside out, all you need to do is just put some soda water on the affected area. After this is done, put the entire clothing inside a bucket full of cold water, and let it soak in it for 15 minutes. Rub the affected area every 5 minutes, and you will see the stain slowly disappear.

Step 3- Now you just need to put the clothing inside your washing machine or hand-wash it, with Champion Blue detergent. If you are going to wash it with the rest of the clothes, you need to make sure that the stain has totally disappeared, otherwise, you will risk damaging the rest of the clothes as well, as the chocolate molecules might get transferred to and settle into other clothes.

Step 4- Once you are done washing the garment; it is time to dry it. Ensure that there are no stains left before tumble drying the clothing. Tumble drying a stained garment would just make the stain permanent, as the heat helps the molecules to get settled into the fabric. The same goes for ironing. Hence, proceed to this step only when you are sure that you have successfully rid yourself of the stain. However, if you follow these instructions be rest assured that the stain will definitely go away in step 2.

Finally comes the most important step- pat yourself on the back, wear the garment again and go have more chocolates.
