How to wash silk Saree in the bucket?
Although many people use washing machine to wash silk saree, it is a better option to wash them in a bucket.
- Now fill up the bucket with cold water.
- Add one scoop of the gentle and premium quality detergent like Champion and mix well
- You have to put the saree and soak it in the bucket for five minutes.
- Now pick up the saree and drain the water quickly. Refill the bucket with cool water again.
- Add one cup of white vinegar in it. You can add a few drops of fabric conditioner in it.
- After another round of soaking of the saree in the mixture, drain the water too.
- Rinse properly with fresh water so that no particle of detergent will remain.
- Now place a large towel and lay down the saree on it. Roll the towel properly and squeeze to get rid of extra water.
- Now you can flat dry or hang up the saree to air dry. You must avoid sunlight to maintain the color of the saree.
In case, you prefer machine wash, then you have to select the delicate mode for it. Ensure that the temperature of water never exceeds 300 Celsius.
