It must be a sight to behold when you lay down the fresh, clean and perfectly ironed table cloth on your dinner table. After the celebration, it is time to clean, wash and iron again. If you notice multiple stains of different things on your exclusive piece; you might be worried.
However, there are ways to get the linen back as new as possible. So, why wait for more spilling?

For the table cloth and napkin cleaning process, you may need a few things like Champion Detergent Powder, vinegar, cold water, lukewarm water, lemon, and a soft brush.
Remember, most of the time the table cloth and napkins are made of delicate linen. To protect the texture, you need to wash it gently. It is also better to avoid the machine wash for it.
- If there is any spilling in front of you, then you have to take action as soon as possible without offending the guests. In case, there is wine, sauce or curry spilled on the fabric, just wash it with cold water for the time being.
- Now fill up the bucket with lukewarm water. Add one scoop of Champion detergent powder and then agitate it with hand to make a good amount of foam.
- After that, put all the table cloth and napkins in the bucket for soaking. If there are color and white clothes, then consider to soak and wash them separately.
- After 30 minutes, gently rub the texture to get rid of all the dirt, grime, and oil.
- Squeeze the clothes a few times to remove the excess soil.
- Now drain the water with the entire soap residue clearly after putting the napkins and table cloth aside.
- Now fill up the bucket with cold water once again.
- Add one tablespoon of vinegar to it.
- Now again soak the clothes in the water for a few minutes (like 10 minutes).
- You have to agitate the bucket to remove all the soapy traces from the fabric. Now squeeze it properly.
- If the water is soapy, repeat the process of rinsing in cold water (without vinegar) until the water will become normal.
- Finally, dry the napkins and table cloth in the shade. It will be better not to use the dryers and go in a natural way.
After the washing of the table clothes and napkins, it is your turn to iron them properly so that they will stay in the perfect shape.
